Inprint Creative Writing Workshop Fiction/In-Person 2526-210

This is a two day weekend writing workshop that takes place 1:30 - 5:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday September 13 & 14 at the Inprint House, 1520 West Main Street, Houston 77006.

ANGÉLIQUE JAMAIL author or A Narrowing Path and The Sharp Edges of Water, will lead this class Story Foundations Intensive.

While some may still argue whether character or plot reigns supreme in the development of an engaging story, one thing is clear: there’s not much story there without both. In this generative workshop, we’ll break down the crux of character development, and we’ll unpack plot structure archetypes to examine what a compelling story is built on. You’ll get the chance to create new work – or salvage a manuscript that just isn’t coming together. The goal is for every person to have enough foundational work done in this class to propel their manuscript toward its finish line. Learn more about this class here.
