Sketch Meet

"Coffee Shop Crawl"
Meet 9am outside the entrance to Common Bond (Montrose, there is more than one location)
With the summer heat, our August meet-up will be indoors. There are three coffee shops (Common Bond, Brasil, and Agora) in a single block on Westheimer at Dunlavy. It's an opportunity to practice drawing interiors or food or people, and you can park once and sketch at one, two, or all three locations. If people are still hungry, we’ll go to lunch nearby.

9am - Common Bond, 1706 Westheimer
10ish - Agora Coffee Coffee, 1712 Westheimer
11:45 - inside Brasil for throwdown, 2604 Dunlavy
We are good neighbors, so please plan to make a purchase if you're going to occupy the space. We want to support small businesses. Please sit together, join a table of sketchers so that we leave space for other customers.
Parking: Common Bond and Agora have small adjacent lots for customers, and Common Bond has a pay lot a block north on Dunlavy. Street parking in the neighborhoods nearby is free.
If you haven't sketched with us before, welcome! Bring your art supplies and join us! All ability levels are welcome. This isn't a class or a competition, just people who enjoy sketching together, on-location, from observation. Children are welcome, but under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
