Austin-based singer-songwriter Bob Schneider, the former frontman of The Ugly Americans and The Scabs, stands among Austin’s most celebrated musicians.

Famed for his genre-blending style that weaves funk, country, rock, and folk, Schneider’s music is both uplifting and unflinchingly introspective, exploring themes of alienation, addiction, and the highs and lows of life. With more than 59 Austin Music Awards to his name, he holds the record as the most decorated artist in the city’s history.

Schneider has released over a dozen albums, written more than 1,000 songs, and is also an accomplished author and visual artist — showing no signs of slowing down.
