Art & Inform Field Trip to Museum of Fine Arts Houston

Join us on a field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and explore objects from Nigeria, Ghana, and Mali. ART& INFORM class picks up where most public-school arts education programs have been reduced or eliminated, by offering a monthly program of free art classes for teens enrolled in grades levels K- 12. Students drive deep into black history and artistic practice and build community together through critical thinking and creativity. The program accepts 20 students for an eight-month course, which meets two hours every first Saturday of the month at SAiD Pan African Library. The program teaches kids how to think, write, read, draw, and play with their essential literacy skills.
