The Apollo Music Festival returns for its 13th season!
Join us for our season opener at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14. The program features a trio by Ludwig van Beethoven dedicated to the Archduke Rudolph of Austria, as well as a string quartet by Benjamin Britten commissioned by Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge, one of the most prolific and generous classical music arts patron that you may never have heard of. The 13th Season of the Apollo Music Festival is approaching! From August 14 through 24, nine musicians from around the country will convene in Southeastern Minnesota to present ten free chamber music concerts at five venues in the area. This year's Apollo Music Festival will celebrate famous patrons of the arts that have supported the composers we know and love. Invite your friends! This is a free event open to all.
