Handbuilding with Clay for Beginners

If you are interested in learning how to work with clay but not sure where to start, this beginning handbuilding class is for you! You will learn the basic skills for creating ceramic sculpture and handbuilt pottery through a series of projects and demonstrations. You will be introduced to several fundamental methods of handbuilding such as coiling, pinching, slab-building and more, to provide you with the base knowledge for creating any project you can imagine. Ages 17 and older are welcome to participate. Loaner tools are available to use or you are welcome to bring your own. Finished pottery will be picked up at a later date.
