Join us for a three-day immersive experience at Knepp Wildland, the UKβs pioneering rewilding project. Spanning 3,500 acres, this extraordinary landscape is home to two herds of free-living Exmoor ponies, alongside longhorn cattle, Tamworth pigs, and red and fallow deerβall shaping the ecosystem through naturalistic grazing.
Since 2001, Knepp has been a leading example of rewilding in action, restoring biodiversity and welcoming back species such as turtle doves, nightingales, peregrine falcons, and purple emperor butterflies. The 30 Exmoor ponies at Knepp live as naturally as possible, offering a rare opportunity to observe their social structures, behaviour, and role in conservation grazing.
