FULL -Make your own recessed zipper tote bag

Come along to our first Sunday sewing workshop. Make a fabulous tote bag with interior pockets and a recessed zip. This class is aimed at beginners, so you only need to be able to sew a straightish line!
You will need to cut out your fabrics before you get there on the day so that you are ready to get going. This can be made from 100% quilting cotton or lightweight upholstery fabric and PU/faux leather for the base. You will need to check that your machine can handle these thicker fabrics. I will have a heavier duty machine with me on the day for use if needed.
You will learn the basics of bag making along with installing a recessed zip. These are all very good skills to develop and this is such a great tote bag you will want to make more than one!

Session will cost £45 payable in advance. Once you have paid I will send the information needed to get the materials ready for the session. Refreshments will be provided, along with snacks but you will need to bring along your lunch and a cushion for the chairs. Bring your own mug if you prefer and also your sewing machine and basic sewing kit. A walking foot on your machine will also be really useful to have. The course will only run if there are sufficient numbers to hold the event.
