Jason Robinson’s career is nothing short of iconic. Known as “Billy Whizz” for his blistering pace and footwork, Jason made history as one of the few players to excel at the highest level in both rugby league and rugby union. He won 51 caps for England in union, captained his country, and was a pivotal figure in England’s triumphant 2003 Rugby World Cup campaign – famously scoring a try in the final.
Before switching codes, Jason was already a superstar in rugby league, winning everything there was to win with Wigan Warriors, including multiple Super League titles, Challenge Cups, and World Club Championships. His rare ability to dominate in both formats cements his place as one of the greatest cross-code athletes of all time.
He also starred for the British & Irish Lions on two tours and was one of the most feared wingers on the planet – known for turning games in an instant with his electric running and fearless attitude.
Since hanging up his boots, Jason has become a respected coach, motivational speaker, and mentor. He’s passionate about giving back and using sport as a vehicle for change, particularly for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
