5K Handicap Hosted by Horncastle Running Group

The 5k handicap route will be from the 50 acre to the information sign just under Martin Bridge and back. We will walk or steadily jog to the start from the swimming pool. Can you please comment with your best 5k time that you achieved last year to the nearest min ie 25, 26, 32, 38 etc. You will definetly require a torch of some kind during this activity!

Most of you I know are familiar with how this works, but for those who aren't I will explain. You provide a time that you think you will complete your 5k in. So if 4 people turn up and they have individually given 40 min, 35 min, 30 min and 25 min projected finish times the 40 min runner would set off first, the 35 min runner would set of 5 mins later, the 30 min runner sets of a further 5 mins later, 25 min runner another 5 mins later. In theory everyone should then finish at the same time 🙂 Also please as per normal register using the link below.
