Join us for one of our favorite annual traditions—the Sandy Pines Color Run—on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm! This fun and energetic 3-mile run/walk is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're walking with friends, jogging at your own pace, or racing to the finish, it's all about having a great time together. Along the route, participants will pass through vibrant color stations, getting covered in bursts of color from head to toe.
The race starts at the Chapel parking lot and ends at the Flea Market Area. To help keep the course flowing smoothly, we’ll release groups in waves: walkers at 10:00 am, joggers at 10:10 am, and runners at 10:20 am. Registration is $25 per person, and you must register by July 7th to receive your Color Run T-shirt and swag bag. Forms must be returned to the Recreation Office, and can be printed online or picked up in person at Recreation, Member Service, or Public Safety.
Pick up your shirts and swag bags on Friday, August 1st, from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Recreation Station or on race day starting at 9:15 am at the Chapel. Whether you come for the color, the community, or the post-race celebration with music and refreshments, this is a summer tradition you won’t want to miss. There’s something for everyone—spectators, first-timers, and returning runners alike. Come ready to get messy, have fun, and make colorful memories that last all year!
