Whether your kiddo loves to shimmy and shake to a good tune, is an aspiring ballerina, is always game for a good action song, or thrives on imaginative play, this class is sure to be a fun-filled exploration of rhythm and movement! This class is designed to introduce children and their caregivers to basic elements of rhythm and dance, including body awareness, self-expression, experimentation, coordination, introductory musical aspects of rhythm, and creative movement. Through a variety of games, activities, and imaginative guided play, participants will be exposed to different dance genres and styles, introduced to rhythmic techniques, and encouraged to “move to the music” in all kinds of fun ways!
