This is how James Spann started out to become Alabama’s premier meteorologist today. He was one of the first meteorologists in the nation to receive Certified Broadcast Meteorologist status from the American Meteorological Society. 👏

In Alabama, we have come to rely on his broadcasts to alert us of inclement weather and keep us safe. You may not know, however, that he has also authored several books, one of which is “Weathering Life,” an autobiography of his life lessons and passion for weather.
