Record Planet returns to where it all began!
Hoorn, where it all began for Record Planet, will once again be the setting for a lively open-air record fair on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Keeping this long-standing tradition alive, the historic shopping street Grote Noord will be filled with dozens of stalls packed with vinyl and CDs. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you can dig through thousands of records, with standholders from all over Europe bringing loads of music to Hoorn – from rare gems to timeless classics.
But that’s not all! This year, the record fair coincides with the Hoornse Stadsfeesten, the largest free festival in North Holland. From June 14 to 16, the entire city center comes alive with a vibrant mix of live music, dance, and theater. This makes it the perfect opportunity for a full day out with friends or family, even if not everyone shares your passion for vinyl. While you hunt for rare records, others can explore the largest shopping street in Hoorn or soak up the festival atmosphere in the city.
