Kids’ Fishing Derby at the 81st National Sweetcorn Festival

FREE event at the 81st National Sweetcorn Festival in Hoopeston, IL!
Date: Sun. August 31, 2025
Registration: 11 am - 12 pm (Crabtree Shelter)
Derby: 12 pm - 2 pm (Lagoon)

Age categories:
6 years and under
7-10 years old
11-13 years old
Bring your own pole, bait is provided.
Catch and release.
Each fish will be measured by a member of the fishing derby team.
Food, drinks, and prizes for all participants.
