Uit de drekkige moerassen van zuidelijk Drenthe komt het vijfkoppige bluegrass combo Flatt Mountain. Gewapend met banjo, guitar, mandoline, staande bas en fiddle brengen ze hun folk en old time liedjes aan de man. Veelal in hoog tempo, gepaard met een goed gevoel voor humor en een hoop gezelligheid. Een tranentrekkende ballade wordt echter ook niet geschuwd en daarmee serveert de band een afwisselende set vol samenzang en fijne soli. Flatt Mountain speelt volledig akoestisch en kan daarom overal spelen en zal dat doen ook!

From the muddy swamps of southern Drenthe hails the five-piece bluegrass combo Flatt Mountain. Armed with banjo, guitar, mandolin, upright bass and fiddle, they play their folk and old time songs. Mostly in a high tempo, accompanied by a good sense of humor and good fun time. A tear-jerking ballad either won't be sheid away either, and with that the band serves up a dynamic set full of harmonies and fine solos. Flatt Mountain plays completely acoustic and can therefore play anywhere and will do so!
