In the Classroom, view signs from a community-led response to threats against Hawai‘i’s Works of Art Special Fund that were carried to the State Capitol for Art at the Capitol Day on April 11, 2025. Spearheaded by the Hawai‘i Arts Alliance with guidance from cultural leaders Maile and Meleanna Meyer, the posters stand as a collective testament to the power, necessity, and heart of art.
