OPAL CPD: East Devon - Winter Whinge and Wonder

Enjoy this chance to meet with OPAL colleagues from different schools in your area. Commiserate with each other on your past failures, get inspired for the winter ahead, and discover the playful wonder of this often damp and dismal time of year. Suitable for anyone working in any capacity in an OPAL school in and around East Devon.

This isn’t a formal agenda with set timings, it’s about coming together for a good conversation.

• A space to share ideas and playful inspiration.
• A relaxed, face-to-face chat where schools can swap stories, support each other, and discover fresh perspectives.
• Time to connect and network with others who truly understand the journey you’re on.

Think of it as a friendly gathering rather than a meeting – a chance to talk, listen, and leave with new energy and encouragement.

Littletown is a large school of around 430 pupils. They were accredited an OPAL Platinum Award in June 2024. The school has large grounds consisting of two split tarmac playgrounds and a grass field. With a school commitment to the UNCRC Rights of the Child, this school views their OPAL playtimes as the '13th curricular subject'.

Parking is limited on site but there is on street parking nearby.

Only two tickets per schools please. If you can no longer come, please let us know so we can release your place to another school.
