The theme this year of " Global Innovations in Fire Safety: Collaborating for Excellence" highlights the essential
interplay between fire engineering practices, technological innovation, and governance and the critical role they
play in ensuring fire safety and prevention. This theme encompasses the regulatory framework, technological
advancements, and ethical considerations that are essential in the field of fire engineering.



Our speakers from Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas will share with audiences their research updates
and valuable experiences to address various hot issues and challenges encountered for fire safety. Ms. Lillian
CHEONG Man-lei, JP, Under Secy for Innovation, Technology and Industry, has kindly consented to be the Guest
of Honour for the Symposium to deliver an opening speech.
