Ukulele After Camp: Learn to Play Ukulele in a Week!

Welcome to Ukulele After Camp with Ms. Sadie!

This event is a 1.5 hr daily lesson, perfect for kids aged 9 to 13 who are interested in music and want to pick up a new instrument, the ukulele.

Session 1—Ages 9-13: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Session 2—Ages 14-18: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Location: Brian Piccolo Park (Exact location to be provided upon registration)

In just one week, your child will learn to play the ukulele through daily lessons that build on each other, Monday through Friday. Students will receive direct instruction in a supportive, hands-on environment, and all music and instruments will be provided. By the end of the week, they'll be strumming confidently and making music with new friends!

During this week-long after camp program, participants will learn the basics of playing the ukulele, including chords, strumming patterns, and even some popular songs. No prior experience is necessary - just bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

About the Instructor:

Sadie Klein is a Florida State Certified K-12 Music Educator. She has taught elementary through high school music in public schools, after school programs, and summer camps. Sadie has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Florida State University and also teaches piano and voice privately.
