Embodying the Yamas & Niyamas

Asana is just one small part of the eight-limbed path. The Yamas and Niyamas—the ethical foundations of yoga—have become a steady guide in my own life, inviting me to move through the world with more presence, compassion, and clarity.

This monthly gathering is a space to explore these ten principles one at a time, through thoughtful conversation, guided reflection, and intentional practice. We’ll look at the historical and philosophical roots of each, reflect through journaling and inquiry, and explore simple ways to apply the teachings in daily life.

Whether you’re a teacher, a student, or simply curious, this series is for anyone who wants to bring more depth, authenticity, and purpose to their practice—on and off the mat.
