Meet your NC Canicross ambassadors Jessica and Vince at Sugg Farm in Holly Springs to get a sense of some of the trails we'll use for the Mushing Mutts Canicross Race this December.
We have tester gear for humans/dogs of all sizes, and we welcome beginners who want to hike/do intervals/run!
This is a no-greet event for dogs, which means no-nose to nose greetings. This is a reactive dog friendly group, lets ensure everyone can enjoy!
Some folks will be running the lake loop which has nice water access and is approx 2.5 mi (which isn't part of the race trail, and I may join that or be doing some trail scouting for finalizing the race route. *Feel free to turn around whenever you/dog need due to weather*

Location Notes: Toilets/water spigots on site near the dog park. There should be plenty of water access for dogs near the lake for splashing/cooling off
*As a general rule, please respect all dogs' space during canicross. NO on-leash, nose to nose greetings. This is not an event for dogs to be social with others, please keep space between your dog and the dog in front of you when running and announce if you're going to be passing. This is a reactive dog friendly group.
