CALL FOR ARTISTS: Post-it Note, 3"x3" Art Show & Fundraiser

The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present its Sixth Annual Post-it Note, 3”x3” Art Show in October! All works of art will be sold at the affordable price of just $5 each! Proceeds from art sales will be split equally between SMAC and the artist. We are seeking miniature art that is presented on a standard size sticky note (3” x 3” square), canvas, or paper of any color.

Important Dates to Remember:
*Saturday, September 13, 11am-5pm
Free Open Studio during SOTO Festival to Create 3X3” Art
Let’s hang out together and create artwork for the show!

*Saturday, September 27, 12-5pm
Art Drop Off
Art will be received at SMAC Art Center, 7 Downing Street, Hollister, MO

*Friday, October 3, 6-9pm
Exhibit Reception
Get there early to grab your favorite pieces before they’re gone- these mini masterpieces sell fast!

*October 3- November 1, 2025
Post-it-Note Exhibit will be on display for the entire month.

*Saturday, November 1, 12-5pm
Pick Up Unsold 3”x3” art

Please note: Any unsold art not picked up within two weeks of the show closing becomes the property of SMAC.


TO PARTICIPATE
-All artists are welcome to submit artwork. SMAC membership is not required.

-Artists must submit a minimum of 10 pieces of art. Maximum number of 30 pieces per artist.

-All 3”x3” works of art will be sold for the same price of $5 each.

-All proceeds from art sold will be split equally between SMAC and the artist. This event is an important fundraiser for SMAC.

-Works of art will not be labeled, but artists must include their full legibly written name on the back of each work. Please number each work for display, such as 1/10, 2/10, 3/10, etc.

-Please place all your artwork in an envelope. Include your full name and contact info along with any special display instructions such as diptych, triptych, etc.
