Tell Me What You Like with Katie Simon

On October 23rd, join us for an important evening of honesty, healing, and connection during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Author Katie Simon will discuss their powerful book, Tell Me What You Like: An Honest Discussion of Sex and Intimacy After Sexual Assault, in conversation with an advocate from Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence.

Together, they’ll explore the complex intersections of survival, intimacy, and reclaiming one’s voice after trauma. This candid and compassionate dialogue is designed to shed light, reduce stigma, and create space for survivors and allies alike. The evening will conclude with a live Q&A, offering participants a chance to ask questions and share in a supportive space, as well as a presentation from Resilience about the efforts and education surrounding violence reduction in West Michigan.

Tickets are available at no cost to ensure that everyone can join the conversation. For those who wish, a paid ticket option includes a signed copy of Katie’s book. 20% of book sales, both preorders and on the night of, will be donated to Resilience. Because conversations like this matter, and everyone deserves to be part of them.
