Celebrate the end of summer with an unforgettable Halloween-inspired event!

For one day only, HDL will transform into a spooky, haunted space filled with fun and games, tricks and treats, and some summer twists on your fall favorites-like watermelon jack-a-lanterns.

Come dressed in your spookiest or sunniest costume-like a ghost in flip-flops or a pumpkin in shades-and enjoy a day of creepy, creative chills and thrills for all ages.

The free fun includes:
• Mad Scientist Laboratory
• Eerie Virtual Reality
• Bigfoot photo op
• Lord of the Gourd professional pumpkin and watermelon carver
• Spooky crafts, snacks and sensory activities
• Temporary tattoos
• Fun with representatives from our local parks
• Spooky Tiki Prize Room for those who have completed the Summer Reading Challenge trail map or reading log
