The third annual Bark in the Park event is back at Windmill Island Gardens again this summer, and it is the place every dog in town will want to be on Saturday, August 23… the Saturday before National Dog Day!
Celebrate your dog’s special day with us from 9:30am – 1:00pm to find all the best places in town to bring your pup! Find groomers, trainers, animal hospitals, tasty treats, accessories, and more from local organizations. Pet paw-rents can even find accessories for themselves from local creators! You and your pup can play games, enter giveaways, get a caricature, run through sprinklers, get a FREE professional portrait taken, and even watch LIVE dog agility demonstrations sponsored by Paws in the City and led by National Agility Competitor and local trainer, Abby Klingberg every half hour throughout the event where you can see a variety of dog sports demonstrated from exciting agility to flipping disc dogs! Dogs can even test their own agility skills with poles and hurdles, too! Regular park admission rates apply during Bark in the Park.
Bark in the Park is proudly presented by Paws in the City with support from Lake Michigan Crematory Pets.
