Anna "Manjuna" Nikitina begins each artwork with an AI-generated image, born from carefully crafted prompts. The artist then refines and transforms these digital origins using traditional techniques imbuing them with personal interpretation.
The work challenges viewers to explore emotional connections with these imagined faces. Can they see a reflection of themselves, or perhaps a trace of the artist’s essence, in the portraits of people who never existed and landscapes generated by machine? This exploration invites viewers to consider the intersection of human creativity and artificial intelligence in the evolving narrative of contemporary art.
A special interactive experience will debut at the opening party, featuring a QR code that invites everyone to reflect on how AI technologies are shaping our lives.
