VJ Day Commemoration

On Friday, 15 August, join Stotfold Town Council to commemorate VJ Day.

At 9am, we will be joined by the The Stotfold and Arlesey Royal British Legion to a lay a wreath at the war memorial, followed by the raising of the VJ Day flag at the cemetery and Greenacre Centre.

At 12 noon, we will be observing a 2 minute silence at the Greenacre Centre, including the cafe and library.

There will be a service at 7pm in Stotfold Parish Church

We invite residents to join us in these moments of reflection and remembrance for all those who served and sacrificed.

Whether at home, at work, or in the community, please join us in showing our respect.
