Welcome to H-Town’s last meet of the season at The Cricketers before we move back to Hitchin Market Square in September.
REMEMBER THE RULES…
Due to reduced space we’ve had to clamp down on entrance criteria.
This is how it is…
The field doesn’t open to classics until 6pm and will be closed to anything post 2000 for the entirety of the evening.
Parking will be layered from the bottom of the field up towards the pub, and will be tightly marshalled to make the most of the space, there’s room for 4 lines of parked cars at the bottom as long as people park properly, tight against the hedges and with no more than a car door between them.
Anything post 2000 will park in the hardstand carpark at the top of the pub or in the adjacent streets.
We must remind people that this is a CLASSIC CAR CLUB not ‘Nice car club’. I don’t care if it’s an Aston or a Lamborghini, if it’s post 2000 it’s not coming in.
There will still be the convoy coming from Hitchin, as usual meet in the Queen Street carpark at 6 to leave for The Cricketers at 6.30. I won’t be there for that as I’ll be marshalling on the day. You all know the route now anyway.
Now this is important, we don’t have any choice in this, there’s only so much room so we have to make the best use of it. Rules are not up for debate, if you’re not prepared to do that you can to preserve the club and help it to continue, then this isn’t the club for you.
Great shots from Oliver and Dave.
