HCO 10th Anniversary

Hitchin Chamber Orchestra is 10 years old this year! We will be celebrating with our Anniversary Concert in St Mary’s Church, Hitchin on Saturday 12th July at 7:30pm. We have chosen to play some of our favourite works for from the English string orchestra tradition including Elgar’s iconic Introduction and Allegro and Vaughan Williams’ haunting Fantasia on a theme of Thomas Tallis. We have also commissioned a new work from local composer, Iain Farrington which will have its premiere at the concert.
Daniel Hogan returns to conduct us for this evening of celebration. Please do come and join us - tickets will be available through Eventbrite and via Hitchin Initiative.
