Pancake races

Frying pans and pancakes at the ready!
Next week, 17th February, is Shrove Tuesday so we'd love to welcome you to join the annual pancake races. These will take place from the Methodist Chapel on Church Street, starting at 3.30pm. There will be four age categories (dependent on participant numbers): usually under 5s, 5-7s, 8-11 and over 11s/adults/young at heart! Everyone is welcome to race or support from the side-lines. Bring a pancake and frying pan if you can.
Pancakes will be available afterwards at St James' Church, in return for a small donation.
