Additional Information:
If you enjoy the Guided Trail Rides and want to see them continue consider volunteering and please pass the word on to others via Facebook, Twitter, Dual Sport clubs, Races, Rides, Shops, etc...
Riders meeting key points:
* Live roads: Cars have right of way - guide/group will wait on other side for all to cross safely.
* Road speed limit is 30 mph - Stay to right and single file -
NO WHEELIES ON ROAD.
* Slow by farms, homes or cabins: If you see people wave as a sign of thanks.
* EASY on and off roads, in grass waterways, any mowed areas, field roads, new seedings, etc.
* Respect trail markings, stay on trail.
* Groups do not have to stay in order. If group comes up on another slower group, the slower group should stop and let faster group go past them.
* Lights should be on if you have them.
* No pit racing and ride slow when by or in parking area.
* HAVE FUN!
Why you should ride:
We do not stop playing when we get old. We get old when we stop playing.
One Day riding opportunity on private properties.
ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER HELPERS:
Before rides:
Work is scouting, flagging, cutting, clearing and marking the trail prior to the event.
After rides:
Removing trail marker and trail maintenance that got exposed or problematic during ride.
Day of rides:
Is Parking, Sign up Board, Sign up table, Guiding, Tail gunner (designated to stay at the rear of a group), Sag support (helping on trail during the ride with broken machines, people tapping out and fixing major marking problem) and other miscellaneous help.
Year around:
Is consulting with me in a riders prospective of possible changes, ideas to consider and keep me motivated to carry the biggest load.
If you are interested:
In helping, call or e-mail me with any dates and times that you have and I will try to work with them. A few hours would be greatly appreciated. Full day commitment not necessary.
**** If you e-mail me to help, include the best phone number to call you.****
If you do not have time to volunteer:
Consider a monetary donation at sign up table or to me personally (if you can find me) to help with food for work day crew/s, landowner appreciation gift or other miscellaneous tools and expenses.
