It's hard to believe it's been 2 yrs since we last saw everyone at the reunion and it's going to be a great time to catch up this year!
NOTE: Please send this to your children and grandchildren and everyone who should be invited so that they can attend as well!

The planning committee got together on Feb 19th - to discuss the details for the reunion this year.
We need some help to decide on a few points:
1st point: What kind of dinner and dessert do we want to provide?
Option A: Catering Dinner: Stay with Alvaro's catering like in the past years - dinner and dessert.
Option B: Picnic style: Every family bring their own food and specialty dishes to share with their family group. Also Dessert
Option C: Pot Luck: Every family bring food and specialty dishes and all is set up as a pot luck for the entire family to share. Also Dessert
Drinks: The committee would still provide ice and a variety of drinks and water for everyone.
(for dessert - we have the option to have the committee provide the dessert along with the drinks, or everyone bring a dessert to share.)
The picnic and pot luck options would drastically cut down on the costs.
Last time, Adults were $20 per person, and children $10 each. We will get the price if we do the picnic and pot luck options as soon as the costs are worked out. We will advise as soon possible.
Please REPLY to this email ASAP (𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵) with your opinion on the food choice so that a budget can be created and the picnic fee calculated accordingly.

As we all know, Don Fure Family and other family elders have been handling the reunion details, set up and arrangements for decades. Please join me in extending our deepest appreciation and thanks for their dedication and commitment to the family and keeping this family tradition alive.
With that said, we need some of our younger generations to volunteer to help and keep the tradition going. It's time to let the elders relax and for the rest of us to take the torch.
It would be a great thing to see our family reunions continue and not die away. For if we don't have this reunion, how will we stay connected? How will your children come to know that they have this great family they belong to, and the history behind where their ancestors came from? How will they see the pictures and hear the stories?

It would be great if all volunteers could attend the next committee meeting!!
Would love to get some fresh ideas and new energy! :-) If you have any ideas and cannot attend the meeting, just include them with your response on the food choice!
