Winter Open House at Battery Gunnison/New Battery Peck

One of Sandy Hook's most historic structures will be open to the public! Made possible by the Army Ground Forces Association.

About this Event

Join members of the Army Ground Forces Association (AGFA) for a “Winter Open House” at Battery Gunnison/New Battery Peck.

Visitors will be able to access the interior of the battery and learn about the various systems and components that have been restored to their functional condition. Gun #2 (the northern gun) will be open for visitors to learn how it operates and experience handling the M1900 6-inch seacoast rifle with assistance from AGFA members.

🎟️ Admission: Free - Open House. Reservation not required.
