1943 Christmas at History House and Battery Peck Winter Open House

The Army Ground Forces Association (AGFA) and the National Park Service invites you to a "1943 Fort Hancock Christmas" at History House. Experience an Officer's house as it would have looked in 1943, and learn about how soldiers, sergeants, officers, and their families celebrated Christmas at Fort Hancock in 1943 during the largest global conflict in history. Hot cider and coffee will be available for visitors.

History House will be open Saturday December 13 from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Join members of Army Ground Forces Association for a Winter Open House at Battery Gunnison/New Battery Peck. Visitors will be able to access the interior of the Battery and learn about the various systems and components that have been restored to functional condition. Gun #2 (the northern gun) will be open and visitors will have the opportunity to learn how it operates and experience operating the M1900 6-inch seacoast rifle with assistance from AGFA members.

Battery Peck will be open from 12pm until 3:30pm.
