Our Salon Series happens in our Ruffed Grouse Tavern space at the Highlander Mountain House Hotel. Make dinner reservations before the show during service hours 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm if you choose, then enjoy an incredible music performance by one of the best songwriter / producers in music, Ross Copperman, along with his emerging superstar daughter, Iris.

Parking available on the property or street behind HMH. Seating for the show is first come first serve. This show will start promptly at 8:30 pm.

ABOUT ROSS COPPERMAN

Ross Copperman has spent the last decade helping some of the biggest artists in the world use their voices and built one of the most impressive behind-the-scenes résumés in music. The GRAMMY-nominated hit songwriter and mega-producer is responsible for a decade of sound from Music City including 30 No. 1 songs and other chart climbers for stars including Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Darius Rucker, Kenny Chesney and P!nk, Dierks Bentley, and so many more, as well as producing acclaimed Dierks Bentley, and so many more, as well as producing acclaimed GRAMMY nominated albums for Urban, Bentley and more.

Although known today as an elite producer and the writer of career-defining gems for other artists, his professional story began with his own record deal in the UK in 2006. His solo debut gained considerable traction on the strength of songs like “As I Choke” and “All She Wrote,” which also found featured spots on American TV shows like “Grey's Anatomy” and “Vampire Diaries.” Now, Copperman is rediscovering his own voice as he returns to his roots as a solo artist with the release of Somewhere There’s a Light On, a five- song collection of shimmery Southern pop filled with radio-ready piano, staccato percussion, synths, snaps and smooth vocals and of course country music’s love of cohesive narratives.

Iris Copperman is a 13-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, Tennessee.With music in her DNA, Iris began writing songs and crafting tracks at the age of five, quickly discovering a voice that is both lyrically rich and emotionally wise beyond her years. Rooted in a deep love for storytelling and performance, Iris brings authenticity and heart to everything she creates. Her debut EP, released in 2024, marked a powerful entrance into the music world, with her breakout single “Bluebird” gaining national attention after being featured on the Bobby Bones Show. Her songwriting speaks to themes of connection, love, and self-acceptance—offering an honest and uplifting celebration of girlhood and individuality. Now living and performing in Nashville, Iris is hard at work on her artist project while captivating audiences with her dynamic live shows. With boundless creativity and a fearless voice, Iris is poised to leave her own unforgettable mark on the world.
