🌿Special event in our popular Tavern Talks series, presented by Barbara McKenzie, author of a recent book about the park.

🌿Peacehaven, gem of Highfields, is on land that was once a dairy farm, established in the 1870s by Ludwig and Albertine Kuhl, migrants from Germany.

🌿Three generations of Kuhls worked the land, until in 2004 the late Stan Kuhl generously donated almost one-third of the original farm to the community for a public park. Barbara’s illustrated talk celebrates 20 years since work began to create the beautiful park we have today.
