melody pool is an Australian country-folk musician from kurri kurri , new south wales.
she first stepped on stage with her father, country musician alby pool,when she was 8 years old ,and she was performing solo aged 9, during her teens pool played in her father’s band .
melody pool arrived on the Australian music scene with 2013’s ,” the hurting scene”, which the Australian declared “ album of the year”, with late great music critic Iain shedden calling it “ one of the most accomplished debut’s by an Australian singer -songwriter for many years “.
in 2016 melody released “ deep dark savage heart “ to widespread acclaim.
July 31st 2025 see’s the release of “ our eternal garden “ .
melody will be accompanied by her partner Chris dale on guitar.
