As part of Bucks Culture's Open Weekend an In the lead-up to our November premiere of Come to the Water at Wycombe’s Old Town Hall, Dew Dance and Art and Soul Dance Theatre presents a free community event that blends performance, participation, and wellbeing.
Through a short dance performance and optional guided movement workshop, you’ll explore how nature – especially water – can support mental health and inspire personal reflection. Participants will be gently guided through movement inspired by rivers, rain, stillness, and renewal, encouraging personal stories of resilience and rest. This experience is rooted in the belief that nature tells stories – and so do we.
Suitable for all ages – we encourage adults to join in too! Weather permitting, the event will take place on the Downley Community Centre lawn; otherwise, it will move indoors to the Beech Room.
Please note:
- Parking is limited on-site – please walk if you can.
- The event is wheelchair accessible (and accessible parking available)
- If the event moves indoors, capacity will be limited. It helps if you can RSVP in advance so we have an idea of numbers.
Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first served basis, space allowing.
