Are you curious about the Tarot cards? Can the cards predict the future or do they offer a technique for careful consideration of current circumstances? Who created the cards? When? And why? Or do you already know a little about the Tarot, but want more information? If so, you may enjoy this class, designed to be the first in a series.

Jodi Boas learned to read tarot in the Pacific Northwest in an oral tradition that was taught by Connie Bender. Jodi has continued to study, attend classes and read cards since 2015. She began teaching classes on the basics of consulting the Tarot in Gainesville last year. Here is how Jodi describes this divination system:

“Tarot–a framework for understanding ourselves in the context of the human experience as represented by archetypal energies presented in the deck. Archetypes are the structure of the collective unconscious–patterns and behaviors that have a “specific charge” that develop a numinous effect and produce a response in us.”
