July 26, 2:00pm-5:30pm ladybug and/or turtle flower pot yard decoration.
🚨 Before group we need you to prep the pots with some kind of primer. Such as Rust-Oleum or other brands of your choice. Be sure to take a damp rag, and wipe both the saucers and planters inside and out to get all the terracotta dust off before spraying on the primer or brushing it on.
Terracotta flower pot turtle/lady bug:
1: 4/3½” terra cotta pots (if you want to make both the ladybug and turtle you will need 8)
2: 1/10½” terra cotta saucer (if you want to make both the ladybug and turtle you will need 2)
3: 1 large wood ball/or ping pong ball (if you want to make both the ladybug and turtle you will need 2)
4: medium green and spring acrylicpaints for turtle
Bight/deep red, for the ladybug.
5: Black and white acrylic paints for both turtle and ladybug
6: E6000 adhesive or another type of strongholding glue such as super glue etc make sure it's like a gel not the liquid.
7: 1″ flat sponge
8: Scissors
9: a bit of thin wire for the antennas of the ladybug.
10: wire cutters to cut the wire for the antennas for the ladybug.
12: paint brushes in different sizes and small sponges dauber for lady bug spots.
