Fall Harvest in the Historical Park

Food preservation like salting and smoking meats and pickling were necessary for backcountry North Carolini-ans. Successful summer and fall harvests can mean comfort during the long winter months. Come help our cos-tumed interpreters preserve our fall bounty for the cold winter ahead. FREE. All ages welcome. Drop-in.
