The Hickory Police Department will once again be partnering with the Hickory Crawdads for National Night Out on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Patrol vehicles from local departments will be parked outside of L.P. Frans Stadium starting at 6 p.m., and participants will have the opportunity to meet their local officers and other first responders.
Members of HPD’s Special Operations Team, K9 Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, and Drone Unit will attend to answer any questions about their specialties.
We are once again inviting participants to vote on who they think has the best patrol car among the participating departments. Information on how to vote will be provided at the event and the winner will be announced during the game.
The Hickory Crawdads will be facing the Columbia Fireflies starting at 7 p.m. Children 12 and under will be given a free ticket, a meal voucher, and a pass to the amusements. Tickets for anyone 13 and over can be purchased here:

There will be several events throughout the game featuring HPD officers, including an on-field K9 demonstration and various contests. Crawdads fans will be invited to participate in some of these events, so look for announcements during the game.
