Chloe Gill is an independent folk rock artist with a bona fide sound. Hailing noise from Mulubinba/Newcastle Australia Chloe is cultivating her artistry through her powerfully honest storytelling, provoking melodies and unfaltering voice. Chloe was selected by Sam Fischer to support him at The Oxford Art Factory on
tour in 2024 with Chris Lanzon. She has also had the privilege of supporting Kate Ceberano, Tori Forsyth, Joe Mungovan, Meg Mac and Little Quirks. In addition, Chloe’s songs have gained recognition in songwriting competitions across the world such as the Green music Australia Schools Strike For Climate Change Songwriting Competition in 2021, Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize with her single 'Circulated Fantasies' in 1st Place. As well as The International Songwriting Competition in 2023 and 2024 as a Semi Finalist for both her tracks, Circulated Fantasies (songwriting and music video) and Firework Night (songwriting).
Chloe will be supported on the evening by two local bands, Clyde Street Band who will have you toe tapping to country rock then grooving to latin rhythms and soulful jazz. Banjo, blues harp, congas, ubass and ukes meld to perform an eclectic mix of musical genres. Followed by the Gospel-ele Sisters who are a Gospel / Ukulele trio comprising of Ruth McCrae, Sacha Kilgour, and Jo Maunsell. Veterans of gospel harmony (think the Café of the Gate of Salvation choir), they have joined forces to celebrate 20-something years of friendship with soul-stirring harmonies and uplifting gospel tunes.
