Secret Gardens: storyteller Chris Adriaanse at Hexham Community Garden

Join Hexham library in the wild at Hexham Community Garden for a very special Story Garden storytime. Storyteller Chris Adriaanse brings his fun and lively session of stories about the wonders of nature and the great outdoors to Hexham as part of our Story Garden Summer Reading Challenge event programme.

Secret Gardens:

A girl is sent on an impossible quest to find spring flowers in the depths of winter.

Deep in the forest, she meets a group of twelve strangers who offer to help her.

Will she succeed? Join us to hear her story and more.

Sessions are suitable for families with children aged 5+

Please purchase tickets for the number of children attending - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, but no need to book a place for the grown ups.

This event will take place at Hexham Community Garden - if you wish to walk with us up to the garden please come to the library at 3.45pm or meet us up at the garden for a 4pm start. In the event of adverse weather the event may be re-located to the library. All those who have booked a space will be notified in advance if this happens.
