In June, we welcomed with great joy a new Marian Brother to our Divine Mercy Apostolate Team, Deacon Alex Pumphrey, MIC, who will soon be ordained a priest on August 16th at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
Therefore, now, with equally great joy and gratitude to God for the gift of priestly and religious vocations, we surround Deacon Alex, MIC, and all young people discerning a vocation to the exclusive service of God, with our fervent prayers, that they may courageously respond anew each day to the voice of God's call.
On September 6, 2025, the first Saturday of the month, we cordially invite you to the chapel of our Divine Mercy Apostolate in London (1 Courtfield Gardens, London W13 0EY) for our monthly First Saturday services and the First Holy Mass of our newly ordained priest, Father Alex Pumphrey, MIC.
This is always a special celebration for the entire Church, and on this day especially for all members of our Apostolate and Marian Helpers from around the world, participating in the first Holy Mass of the new priest. So, save this date in your calendar today and come to receive a special First Holy Mass blessing.
Meanwhile, let us pray in the words of Saint John Paul II for new, holy priestly, religious and missionary vocations:
"We turn to you, Lord, in trust!
Son of God,
sent by the Father to the
men and women of every time and of
every part of the earth!
We call upon you through Mary,
your Mother and ours:
may the Church not
lack in vocations,
especially those dedicated in a
special way to your Kingdom.
Jesus, only Savior of mankind!
We pray to you for our
brothers and sisters who have
answered "yes" to your
call to the priesthood,
to the consecrated life and
to the missions.
May their lives be renewed day by
day, to become a living Gospel.
Merciful and holy Lord,
continue to send new workers
into the harvest of your Kingdom!
Assist those who you call
to follow you in our day;
contemplating your face,
may they respond with joy
to the wondrous mission
that you entrust to them
for the good of your People
and of all men and women.
You who are God and live and reign
with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
for ever and ever. Amen."
/JOHN PAUL II, 23 November 2003/
