Meet 9.00am outside the shop on Green Lane Cottingham. Depart 9.05am.
Leader: Roy
Route: 48 miles with very little climbing! Hardly a hill in sight. Perhaps an opportunity for those previous Medium riders, who would like to complete a longer ride before the end of summer, without too much climbing. Cake stop; Bainton Stop

Please click ‘Going’ so we can arrange 1 leader for every 8 riders. If you turn up unannounced, we will try to fit you in. If there are no definite attendee’s by Saturday morning, the ride will be cancelled to free the leader up.
General advice:
- Ride in a compact group.
- Watch the two people at the front, if they are side by side, you should be too.
-Anyone can shout ‘single file’, doesn’t have to be the leader.
-When single file, if you are the 4th person, consider opening a 20m gap between you and the person in front to allow room for overtaking cars.
Bring:
Helmet.
Water, food, money.
Inner tube.
Adequate clothing.
Pace:
We ride at a pace that enables everyone in the group to have a good ride.
Typically short (25 - 30 mile) rides average 12.5mph. Long (50 mile) rides average 15mph.
New Members:
We are welcoming new Members, you can have up to three trial sessions before joining, but please sign up before coming. This makes it easier for the leaders on the day and gives us your emergency contact details, although clearly, we hope we never have to use them. On the Web Site click “sign up today” and then click “Free trial”.
