Stringfoot Thursday

COMMUNITY EVENT: Join Hesperia Lake Bird Rescue, at Hesperia Lake for our New Year's Day Stringfoot Thursday! We'll meet in front of the Lake Store at 11:30am to help our feathered friends.

We will be at the lake for approx. 2-3 hours. You are not obligated to stay the whole time. We will be walking the lake picking up fishing line, apparatus and trash. Feeding the birds, assessing them for fishing line, and addressing any other issues they may have. You can go at your own pace for whatever is comfortable. The focus of this event is to help the birds. Please no dogs, or young children that will distract from the purpose of this event.

We are taking donations of blankets, large bath towels and smaller towels. The items will be used for the birds that are being held, waiting for help. You can drop of the items at the Lake Store.

Bring a drink for yourself, and optional snack to share. See you there, and thank you for helping the birds!
***If the storm blows in, and the weather is not permitting. We want everyone to be safe, and will reschedule this event till next Thursday.
