Creating Textures to Create Magic - Watercolor Workshop

We are excited to bring artist Claire Simpson Jones to Hertford for a 2-day workshop!

"Creating Magic in a painting requires each artist to tell their own visual story. We do this through interpretation of a subject, departing from reality and using imagination rather than copying an image.

In this two-day workshop, we will explore a variety of textures, gathering a library of experiments. We will then use these techniques, in our watercolor paintings, to interpret scenes from nature. My goal is for each artist to find their own individual voice while having fun playing with watercolor magic."

Cost for workshop is $225 for PAL members; $260 for non-members. Fee includes lunch on both days.
