National Roller Coaster Day at Hersheypark - "Informal" Meet Up

"INFORMAL" VISIT TO HERSHEYPARK (Hershey, PA) TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 FOR NATIONAL ROLLER COASTER DAY. 😀 Outing is not affiliated with Hersheypark.

There will be an "informal" gathering of roller coaster enthusiasts to meet up on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 am. If you are interested in joining us, please click on Going or Interested.

National Roller Coaster Day is meant for everyone who loves roller coasters! Members of ALL roller coaster enthusiasts clubs are welcome to celebrate at amusement and theme parks around the country.

Please take note of the following information:
NRCDay is simply a day where we can get together as a group and enjoy the park together. We do not anticipate receiving discounts, having ERT's, etc., unless park management offers them to us. If they do, we will notify by updating this announcement. There is no registration to attend; however, the cost for park admission, parking, food, etc., is your responsibility. (See below for admission pricing and discount information found on the park's website.)

ITINERARY:
10:00 am - Hersheypark opens to the general public.
10:00 to 10:15 am - Attendees should meet at the Candymonium sign near the coaster's main entrance. Group photo to be taken at this time.
The group will decide which coaster to ride first, plus visiting the Outlook Restaurant for lunch.
1:00 pm - Informal Take Over Times (ITOT) begin. First coaster to ride to be decided by group. Later ITOT's to be decided throughout the day.

BE AWARE that the park is offering a special deal on general admission they call "Everyone Pays Kids’ Price 1-Day Ticket" for only $49.99. (This deal expires on June 30, 2025.) They also offer a "1-Day Any Day Ticket" for $54.99. See website to order tickets on-line. Discounts not available at the gate.
